Media Player can see but not play

Hmm - not sure what happened.

I used to download MP3s - use the encoder and then drag and drop through acti-sync for wma files.

I tried this today (first time post update)

Media player can see the file but doesn't play it!

Thought it maybe a small glitch - so I used smartexplorer to open it and the kind app said to me

"The file cannot be found. You may not be connected to the network............."

What's happening

Please help

Might sound daft (sorry) but could you have possibly

pasted a shortcut instead instead of the actual file?

That's the only thing I can think of quickly

I have this problem, but only with a single video, not sure what makes it happen unfortunately.

definitely not a shortcut - did check the properties part through acti-sync exlplore

Is it just one particular WMA or you have the same problem with all of em??

Try encoding it again and check in media player on your PC before you transfer it.

I've tried to do two files now - both do not work - but my old ones do (the ones left on before update)

It's just a single WMV, in my case.
