games on my sd card, pls help

hi, i was wondering if anybody knows why i cant access any games on my spv when i install it in my storage card, it seems to always say that it can not find the file, pls help, thanks

How are you installing the games? and also what games are they?

Also try removing the storage card then reinsert it as sometimes a read error can happen.

i tried installing rick dangerous and micro turismo on my phone. I placed in in the to install folder. when asked, i chose the sd memory. the spv said that it installed it successfully but when i try to play it, it cant seem to find the file. both games works fine when i use the phone memory. What do i have to do?

I had a similar problem, but found that if you start up the phone without the SD card in and then insert it after it's started up it should work. Not sure if this is an actual fix or not, but it worked for me! :)

I would try and format the card, then reinstall the games. If that doesn't work, I don't know what to tell ya. :cry:

how do you format the sd card?

maybe im doing something wrong, can you wuide me step by step as to what i have to do. like, do i have to first copy and paste it in the storage card folder? or do i have to copy paste it in the to install folder

There's a couple ways to do it. One is to buy an SD card reader and format it that way on your computer. The second is a little more difficult, but a lot cheaper. :wink: You need to go to this address: http://www.binarys.com/smartphone/default_en.asp and install SP task manager on your phone. Make sure it's installed to the phone, because once you format the card I don't think you can use it anymore. Once you've installed the program, (put the CAB file under your "to install" folder on your phone by the way) run it. Under file, go to "format sd/mmc card" and you're done! Or are you... :wink:
