Undeletable Message

Ola! I currently have two sms messages in my deleted items folder, and I cannot remove them. I have tried deleting them individually, and emptying the folder, but they still remain. Does anybody have any ideas!? :?

Right. You have two choices

Choice 1:

The SMS and messages are stored in the IPSM folder. Provided that you WANT TO DELETE all messages (read and unread) you can do the following.

Goto IPSM folder and delete the following file.

WARNING: You will NOT be able to restore these files.

IPSMmxip_lang.vol

IPSMmxip_initdb.vol

IPSMcemail.vol

Restart the phone and new empty copies of these files will be created and the counter will be rested to 0 as well.

Choice 2

You DONT want to delete the messages so using this thread you can restore them.

But to be honest im not 100% sure if this method will reset the counter.
