Divx File Size

Hello all,

I've de-certed my phone and installed PocketMVp a few days ago. I've run the trailers I've found on here and they've been brilliant. I also made my own 2 Fast 2 Furious trailer (which I've attached) and it ran well too.

Now, I got a bit carried away and made the whole of the movie Evolution into a 91.7Mb DivX file. It looks good on my computer, and after a long time it finally copied itself to my 18Mb MMC card. The problem is that when I try to run this on my phone is says:

'Failed to load file, check available memory'

Is there a limit to the file size I can use? Can anyone tell me how I can get around this problem.

P.S. Let me know what you think of my trailer. I used ClintEastman's settings.

Am I missing something or did you copy a 92Mb file onto an 18Mb card? I suspect there is a typo there somewhere :)

I've ran a 87Mb film no probs - your best getting Task Manager and kiling all processes before playing a film :)

Indeed, I meant to put 128Mb!! Would it help if I removed some of the programs I installed onto the phone and put them onto my MMC card instead?

It certainly sounds like too many programs are running.

It's best to install all pograms you get onto the storage card.

the only exception to the rule is the GPRS counter app.

Thanks to everyone. I've got it running now. I've just made a 115Mb DivX file of Romeo & Juliet so now I have to try that! Fingers crossed!
