Write the correponding letter and press the button to change it. For example, press 2 and change from a to b to c to 2.

How do you input a "0" (zero) on predictive text?

Thanks for replying, but that's a pretty obvious answer. My own, fault - the question should have been this:

When in T9 text input mode on the SPV, you can input numbers by cycling round all the options for whichever key you a pressing. For example to get a number 3 character, you press the "3" key, (which gives you the letter E character first of all), and then press the "0" key while the letter E character is still underlined, and after three keypresses this give you the number 3 character on screen. Is there any way to get the number 0 character on screen like this so you don't have to change out of T9 mode at all? On Nokia T9, where the "0" key is used for spaces, all you had to do was just press and hold the "0" key for two seconds and the number 0 character came up - but on the SPV this only brings up the + character.

Also, is there any way that you can get accented characters when writing on the SPV without having to do something drastic like change the regional settings? I'd like to be able to spell fiancé, blasé, raison d'être... etc etc... properly

Thanks for the reply, but that's a pretty obvious answer. My own fault - the question should have been phrased like this :

SPV T9 lets you input numbers by pressing the key for that number and then cycling through the options with the "0" key. For example press the "3" key to get the letter E, then press "0" key till the number 3 character comes up on screen. Is it possible to do this for the number 0 character without having to completely change out of T9 mode? On Nokia T9 where the "0" key is used for spaces all you had to do was just press and hold the "0" key for two seconds and the number 0 character would come up. On SPV T9, this just brings up the + character.

Also on a slightly different note, is it possible to get accented characters at all? I'd like to be able to spell fiancé, blasé, raison d'être... etc etc... properly without having to do something drastic like completely change the regional settings!

EDITED : sorry for posting twice, but the first post broke the site on the posting.php page (or whatever page it is after you click submit) and gave me a 404 page!
