I created a color theme using Microsoft's Theme Generator that uses a quite dark background color, so I'd need a bright text color, especially for the start menu (after pressing 'Programs' at the home screen). The start menu items are black by default and I don't know what tag I should use to change their color. Theme Generator does not provide an option to alter this color. Who can help?

If you mean the programs menu text - I think it's COLOR_WINDOWTEXT for the unselected text, & COLOR_HIGHLIGHTTEXT for the selected text.

I think ...

Thanks! COLOR_WINDOWTEXT did it for the programs menu.

The last thing I am looking for is the tag name or RegKey for the alert screen texts (the small black text of the notification screen that appears if you want to delete your calls list, for example). This text is also black by default and I'd need to change it.

COLOR_alertTITLE is the title text and COLOR_WINDOWTEXT is the rest of the text (i think, either that or COLOR_STATICTEXT)

I had a dark background for a while & the only problem I founs was with the reminders. Whenever text was displayed in pocket outlook, it was always default black. I never found a way to change it coz I think it is controlled inside outlook, not the SPV settings.

However, if you do manage to change it, please let me know how!! :)

No, it's none of them, sorry. I changed these values but the small texts on the notification screen is still black. Do we have to change a RegKey here..?
