Guest kingdom master Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 how possible is it we could port flash player onto the spv? and what is involved? kingdom.
Guest HelloDave Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 I hear ClintEastman approaching... clump...clump...clump... OT: Been a while since you've asked for some software Kingdom
Guest Emad Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 You need to ask Macromedia veeery nicely :)
Guest kingdom master Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 Yeh dave i have a few more important things in life to do than spend my entire life in here, lol either way i think a flash port would be good and wondered if we had anything on the way. also i have been working on my own apps for hte spv which i will put out soon. one of which will be a video streaming site. kingdom
Guest ClintEastman Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 Fee, fi, fo, fum, I smell the blood of a HelloDave!  The file format is open source, but the source for the player isn’t. Saying that I have been having a play and you can get flash onto our favourite phone, im a round about kind of a way. I have been successful in getting Shockwave content up and running on the SPV! And you can put Flash content in a Shockwave movie, but for my needs (e.g. data streaming with an SQL/PHP backend) it’s not good enough (and im not great at Lingo).
Guest HelloDave Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 Fee, fi, fo, fum, I smell the blood of a HelloDave! I dunno, I try to be nice... If I see a large fanta bottle approaching me proffering a picture of a gerbil's poo hole, i'm running :)
Guest yatpeak Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 You've got shockwave on an SPV, cool, can't wait until it's all finished :) . Wyatt
