Guest James Posted May 27, 2003 Report Posted May 27, 2003 i am taking a girl... will she get it or is she going to ask of loads of questions after? just so i know what to expect.
Guest Brody Posted May 27, 2003 Report Posted May 27, 2003 She'll get bored of the kung-fu, buy her some food and drink to entertain her
Guest James Posted May 27, 2003 Report Posted May 27, 2003 well she quite liked the first one and and really did not fancy watching x men 2
Guest superkingdave Posted May 27, 2003 Report Posted May 27, 2003 be prepared for lots of questions :)
Guest Maverick Posted May 27, 2003 Report Posted May 27, 2003 Atleast there is some 'romance' in this sequel .. ;-)
Guest Ras Posted May 27, 2003 Report Posted May 27, 2003 My better half saw it before me, and she loved it!!! She did mention however that the plot isn't too hard to grasp (and she aint to good at following films), think the "understanding the plot" was for Matrix 1...numbers 2 and 3 are fun FX...I hope so anyway!!! Let me know what you thought of it jlowap!!!
Guest Brody Posted May 27, 2003 Report Posted May 27, 2003 I have to disagree with your comments about 2 and 3 being fx, 1 contained the most ground breaking fx (bullet-time) 2 had great fx but not as ground breaking, and as for the plots being weaker, check out THIS topic that i started....!
Guest Ras Posted May 27, 2003 Report Posted May 27, 2003 as I said, those were her comments!!! Off this Saturday so will make me own comments then... WOO HOO can't wait!
Guest James Posted May 28, 2003 Report Posted May 28, 2003 did not bother seeing it in the end... went to superbowl! my brother is sending me a 'preview' today anyway, so i will encode it for my spv to see if its worth going to see.... [edited]
Guest vijay555 Posted May 28, 2003 Report Posted May 28, 2003 jlowap: you might want to rephrase that... there's a lovely big FACT copyright warning at the start of your "backup", or at least there was one in the cinema... And i think your gf didn't miss much  V
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted May 28, 2003 Report Posted May 28, 2003 10 years for recording backups isnt it?
Guest James Posted May 28, 2003 Report Posted May 28, 2003 is there really? i dont think so! i copy all my albums to use in my car CD player as i really dont want to have all my originals stolen. even if they are insured!
Guest SirGaz Posted May 28, 2003 Report Posted May 28, 2003 FACT do ideed imprison naughty people and the maximum is indeed 10 years, but that's unlikely to happen to jlowap. Might happen to his brother though for distributing the goods. And creating a backup is perfectly legal, so long as that is what it's used for. As neither of you have the original then it's hardly a backup is it
Guest James Posted May 28, 2003 Report Posted May 28, 2003 I understand, but I am certainly going to purchase the DVD when its out and I also know that’s not the point, the fact still remains I have not seen it yet  because thought it better to do something a little more social..... think I should of just gone and seen and we would not even be discussing it. . . :D
Guest vijay555 Posted May 28, 2003 Report Posted May 28, 2003 I think everyone should just go Shhhhsh for now. FACT are unlikely to go after individuals, and fair use is fair use but let's just be careful eh fellas. You know how FileSharing IS being traced back to individuals now-a-days, if you're really unlucky. I remember seeing this guy in court, a computer "dealer", being sued by microsoft for distributing thousands of squid worth of counterfeits. He was representing himself, and was a swarthy looking chap; he held up a notepad and stammered out a few words along the lines of conspiracy theory. The microsoft guy then stood up and pulled out about 10 files worth of evidence, and nothing more needed to be said really  V
