Activesynch differences?

Hi,

Is the activesynch available from MS' site identical to that provided on the original SPV CD? Reason I ask is I'm unable to install any programs on my SPV, and from what I can gather, it seems to be an Activesynch problem. Further more, most people here have no trouble installing Handango's software - so can I ask, are those who *can* install software using the original CD software, or one downloaded from MS?

Check whether u have version 3.6 (the version that comes bundled with the SPV) or version 3.7 (the newest version from MS) in ActiveSync Help>About, can't see y this would be a problem though :?
