Guest ClintEastman Posted May 28, 2003 Report Posted May 28, 2003 No, no. Not the original Playstation but a new piece of kit from Sony. Sony Computer Entertainment president Ken Kutaragi revealed their new "Media Delivery Box" overnight in Tokyo. It contains a 120GB hard drive, DVD writer and the guts of the PS2 to make this a desirable piece of electronics! You'll notice from the 3rd screenshot that the PS2 controller ports are present and correct, although there's not any memory card slots. I imagine either the hard drive will be used, or Sony's memory format, Memory Stick. Games, Tivo functionality and DVD writing all in one, Yum! Hate to imagine the damage this would do to my bank balance Check out the videos on AV watch, check out the screens and tell me you don't want it! Guest adam Posted May 28, 2003 Report Posted May 28, 2003 Seems like the offspring of a PC and a PS2, with Nintendo choosing the name! Looks nice, but I agree with your quote on the possible cost.
