Contacts spontaneously combusts?

Hi all

reporting this for Dade..

Was chatting to him earlier (he called me at home from his mobile) and whilst we were talking his mobile cut us off.

then it wouldn't reconnect - and it wouldn't let me call him either (got his answerphone)

eventually the phone let him make a call back to me, but he had lost all his stored numbers, and when he clicks on contacts nothing happens

any ideas anyone?

muff
