Guest Bazz Posted May 29, 2003 Report Posted May 29, 2003 The Register has a full review of the P800. http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/68/30929.html Sounds like the he's had it for a while and given it a thorough testing. On the whole he says he likes it but has most of the same gripes with it as we have with the SPV. Probably should be in off-topic but I thought it might interest SPV owners as it's probably the main competitor to the SPV. Well that's my excuse for posting it in main. Barry
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted May 29, 2003 Report Posted May 29, 2003 Still going to move it though ;p
Guest Vector Posted May 29, 2003 Report Posted May 29, 2003 The P800 is a sexy little beast. It comes in blue and silver and has a good solid feel. While chunky it's still small enough to be comfortable in your pocket. He seems to like it :?
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted May 29, 2003 Report Posted May 29, 2003 It also has a similarly redundant IR interface. Why do they keep putting these interfaces into phones and PDAs? I've never met anyone who uses IR IR is increadably useful imho....
Guest Vector Posted May 29, 2003 Report Posted May 29, 2003 IR is increadably useful imho.... Especially if you have a laptop and want to connect to the internet via the phone, i know my Dad always uses it any way
Guest siu99spj Posted May 29, 2003 Report Posted May 29, 2003 Still going to move it though ;p Mono, your sig should reply be 'Topic Moved' now  To be honest though, I don't trust the touch screen. Can't see that lasting too long...
Guest HelloDave Posted May 29, 2003 Report Posted May 29, 2003 It's the Register. The P800 doesn't have a shred of M$ in it AFAIK, so of course they'll love it if it means people will buy one over an SPV
