Setting Up SPV for o2

Hi

Got my new SPV yesterday and unlocked it to use on o2 (thanks to this forum for the unlocking ifnfo :lol:)

I've been trying to set up the WAP an GPRS settings - yep, that old chestnut :lol: - but not had much luck so far.

I had a look through the GPRS repository thread but must admit to being very confused. There seems to be a lot of different settings, usernames/passwords etc and aall the business about proxies and such confuses the hell outta me!

Could someone knock up a quick idiots guide for me guiding through the exact steps and what to put in. Sort of "click this, go into this, enter this" I'm on a pay monthly contract if that makes a difference? My eventual aim is to have the phone check for new mail on my POP3 account every couple of hours and automatically download it.

Also, can you only use the Orange de-cert website if you're on the Orange network? Been entering my details in that but haven't had anything through.

Wwell, dunno what I did but it's working. Mixed and match the info I had but nothing. Accidentally hit hte connection to IE and hey presto! :lol:
