Midi problems

I know the spv only supports the midi 0 file, when I converted the midi file to 0 I tried to play it on the spv and the file does work but the sound is distorted so badley that you cant make out the original file.

Is there anyway to over come this situation?

One way to do it is to convert the original midi to a wav file. Try doing a goodle search for Midi to Wav. Just make sure that you make the wav file the correct format (I forget what the settings are off the top of my head, but do a search and you'll find them)

yeah, but wav files take up more room than midi files, I dont have that much room in my sd card. so why does the spv support midi if you cant even play the dam thing!

I have little experience with MIDI files with the phone as I use wav files. The only thing I can think of is that the volume settings stored within the MIDI file is too loud. Try loading it into a midi sequencer (if you don't have one have a search on Google, there should be some freeware MIDI programs) and lowering the volume, saving it and trying it on your phone.
