Guest TFGBD Posted May 31, 2003 Report Posted May 31, 2003 Hi. I don't even have a Smartphone, but since the platform was introduced I've wondered.... Will the common controls support mouse input? I came across this Windows CE program that lets you to use the Dpad to control a mouse cursor. Just thought it would be something interesting to try. Guest jmbneaf Posted June 1, 2003 Report Posted June 1, 2003 I tried it on my Pocket PC - it works great there. I also tried it on my SPV - it kinda works here too - it needs some tweaking to get it right. Curious??? - well I had to soft reset my SPV to exit the program. It definitely has potential on the SmartPhone platform. FYI, -JB
Guest Brody Posted June 1, 2003 Report Posted June 1, 2003 I'll dl it and see what its like but we'll not be able to do anything without the source code!! Perhaps a polite request to the author would be appropriate!
Guest TFGBD Posted June 1, 2003 Report Posted June 1, 2003 You can't click the tray icon and choose exit from the popup menu? Can't you close it by killing the process with a task manager? How about some screenshots? Wow, thats cool. It actually works!:D I know its pretty buggy on my device too. Does some strange things and causes many crashes:) Attached is some source code I came across on Pocketmatrix a while ago. Its for some type of mouse pointer program... Maybe it would be of use to someone...RgnSample.zip
