dudes,what memory are the sms messages stored into.i'm not using a storage card right now.my messages reached up to 200.i deleted all of them and there isnt a difference in the IPSM memory and the physical memory when i viewed them in the task manager.where are sms messages stored?thanks much!

in the ispm folder delete the "cemail.vol" file, and all the contents of the MAPI folder

no offense,dude.but are u sure it wont screw the phone up if i delete the cemail.vol and all the files under MAPI?what is the cemail.vol file and MAPI folders for,anyway?

why dont you copy and paste the files onto your pc.. then delete them from your phone, if it stops working then just place the files back into the phone in their correct files.

Transfering files from mapi to your pc and back again doesn't work. The .vol probably has something to do with that.

There is an app available somewhere that can convert your sms to email so you can sync it with your pc.

Don't delete the .vol file! Just delete all the files in the MAPI folder (as well as the attactment folder inside MAPI)!

How did you delete your messages in the first place!? Did you empty your 'deleted messages' folder!?

Might wanna get the program 'SMS Tools' to delete texts in your inbox..
