High Speed "EDGE" Connectivity?

In the new Carphone Warehouse Catalogue, there's a bit about the forthcoming N*kia 6220 with "EDGE" technology.

It says "Experience faster browsing, messaging and download with the new high speed package based EDGE connectivity. Downloading via EDGE will be more than twice as fast as GPRS" :shock:

Does anyone know much about "EDGE" :?:
