Phone vibration help! annoying

i have my phone set to vibrate and ring! but it just vibrates all the time! well annoying! is there a way to set it to vibrate like the the nokia phones? kind of intermittantly!

its annoying also when its in its cradle !! the desk vibrates like a good one till i answer or annoyes everyone in the office if im away from the desk

The vibrate settings are in individual profiles in 'settings'. Edit the profiles that you use and modify notification type and alarm type.

you can also edit the profiles themselves to define new types of alarms, like no vibrate, intermittent, delayed, etc. see midnight's page.
