new sd card

Do you have to format a new sd card before use, if so how?? :wink:

You should not need to but if you do you can do it two ways.

1, Get yourself a card reader and format that way as you would a floppy, hdd etc

or

2, If your phone is decerted use the excellent Smart Explorer file manager app, it has a format option.

also you should get the phone to do it, when you insert an unformatted card, it will ask you if you want to format it!
