Guaranteed Solution to the eternal problem of dust.....

After 6-7 weeks of being very annoyed by the ever increasing dust gathering in my phone (initially only the bottom left corner, but recently the entire bottom 1/4 of my screen and top left too) i finally bit the bullet and called orange care - admittedly this was catalysed by me scratching the screen this afternoon (careless)

Anyway - was a bit unsure as to how they would react - basically, the only question the guy asked was

'do you work in a dusty environment?' - answer.....No!!

then asked if it was a sudden problem - i said it had been getting worse ever since the 3rd / 4th day i'd had it.

Then said he'd have it couriered out by 1pm the next day...got the usual spiel, retain the battery, sim card and SD card, you'll only get the actual phone etc.....

AS EASY AS THAT!!!!!

I've had orange phones for 2 years now (this is my third) and i've never had to use orange care before - i am very impressed. i certainly wont be afraid to claim again if there is another problem - i had the siemens sl42e before, and the screen went funny about 9 months in, basically had some sort of loose connection, and had to be squeezed in to get the image back.....didn't bother using orange care, as i thought they'd tell me to send it back whilst they 'repaired' it at their leisure.....wish i had now!!!!
