Guest AsherUK Posted June 2, 2003 Report Posted June 2, 2003 Is it possible to filter incoming calls on the SPV ? Are there any options for this ? Or is there a way to block certain incomming calls ? I keep getting an annoying person calling me (whom I don't want to speak to - although I have asked them not to call..but that doesn't work), and I can't switch the phone off as I need to accept other calls. Any info of how to get around this would be appreciated - and no I can't just tell them to f*** off ... it's not that simple  Thx.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted June 3, 2003 Report Posted June 3, 2003 Talk to the network provider and see what they can do. But as for blocking certain numbers I don't believe it's possible.
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted June 3, 2003 Report Posted June 3, 2003 If its possible its done on the carriers end i believe.
Guest tt5th Posted June 3, 2003 Report Posted June 3, 2003 Not possible from the carriers end I believe, something to do with contravening data protection. You would have to prosecute the person for malicious calls thorugh the police which would give the carrier auth to investigate.
Guest madu Posted June 3, 2003 Report Posted June 3, 2003 I know it's no solution but.... TIP1: When a call comes in press 'volume down' button on the side of the phone - this will mute & stop vibration but NOT hang up. TIP2: Assign a dummy WAV (no sound) to the contact. (Contact>Edit>Custom ringtone>)
