Stange problem unlocking replacement phone...HELP ME!!!!

I received my replacement phone from orange care today - i am assuming that this one is post update.....

I cannot unlock the darn thing.

Both relevant provmxl. files are present, but only mxip_oem_10 has the security policy section in the file when you look at it - i have been trying to unlock all morning using the guide on coolsmartphone.com for post update phones (and the instructions seem to be comparable with what my phone is doing) but despite the fact that the wizard is coming up after the file is copied, when i try to load uncertified software i get the message telling me that the phone cannot use non certified software.

Help me please, i go on holiday tomorrow and i want this fixed before i go away!!!
