Guest glynton Posted June 3, 2003 Report Posted June 3, 2003 Me and my kitchen mates at unihave been building this since the begining of the year.. unfortuantely, we've had a few draw backs in the past with people nicking it... but finally we've Accomplished our goal... Here it is.. Kitchen Six's Tower, Warwick Uni!02 The almighty kitchen 6 sidekick tower.jpg
Guest Palindrome Posted June 3, 2003 Report Posted June 3, 2003 Very impressive. I had something like this with a pyramid of beer cans (500 odd) when I was at uni but it never had the elegance of your design. Did you have many breakages?
Guest glynton Posted June 3, 2003 Report Posted June 3, 2003 The only breakages when we had was when the tower was quite young and a "Random drunk guy" come into our kitchen and knock it over, but the only reason they broke was when we started hurling them at him... we missed a couple of times and hit the wall, and i think one samshed against his head. lol... Anyway.. The biggest loss was when someone decided to knick a load last term (obviuosly a rival hall)... Glyn
Guest James Posted June 3, 2003 Report Posted June 3, 2003 shame i cant see this pic cos i an on mobile modaco. had some good towers in my local pubs around town but sounds like nothing to what yours is. how many are there?shame i cant see this pic cos i an on mobile modaco. had some good towers in my local pubs around town but sounds like nothing to what yours is. how many are there?
Guest Geary Posted June 3, 2003 Report Posted June 3, 2003 Jasus wot can i say, im proud of you well done my son
Guest glynton Posted June 3, 2003 Report Posted June 3, 2003 Thanks, but I cant take all the credit, there's about 8 different people's contributions there (mainly Mine and Danny's). Plus this is only a portion of all the side kicks we've actually done this year, normally we're too pissed to remember to keep them! :? But hey... lot of fun... Hope we start a trend! he he Glyn
Guest Brody Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 One of my mates went to Warwick, he studied Computer Science and finished last year. I like your pyramid but does it compare to food sports?!!
Guest b1uepower Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 Looks good dude  but what if some one nocked it over now? what would you do to them? :?:
Guest MECX Posted June 5, 2003 Report Posted June 5, 2003 we used 'No More Nails' to make an upside down beer tower which confused alot of drunk people. shame we dropped alot of the glue on the window below our flat staining the glass and plastic----we didnt get any money taken off us--then again it wasnt our window  :D
