Active Sync Issue

Morning all,

I have a strange issue with activesync (3.6 & 3.7)

I would like to sync just the current days emails with my SPV so I can have them to refer to when I am out and about. However, when I click on the email settings in ActiveSync's obtions tab, it flashes "opening settings" for a split second, then does nothing.

I've tried both versions of AS and I have tried re-installing. I've also checked google groups and Microsoft, so if anyone has any advice it would be appreciated.
