Auto reload

Here's one for all you web scripters.

I've written a simple guestbook for a website. What I'd like is similar to when we submit messages on MoDaCo in the quick reply textbox, ie. write a message, press submit, a new page loads saying it will redirect us and then the previous page loads which now has our message displayed there.

I've written everything apart from automatically reloading the page so the message is displayed. At the moment the only way to see your message after redirection back to the original page is to press reload.

I use Opera as standard and try to make my websites Opera friendly. One of Opera's greatest pros is the page caching. On MoDaCo my Opera page is forced to reload so if anyone could indicate how this is done I would be gratefull.
