Guest pugzi Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 I bought a fabric keyboard (elektex) but when i use it nothing seems to work, the buttons do bugger all when i press them on the fabric board. Any ideas?
Guest fozzie Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 Have you downloaded and installed the Orange Keyboard update?
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 Welcome to the site  You need to get the driver update from the Orange site. Sorry don't have a link at the moment
Guest fozzie Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 Easiest way is probably to dock the SPV with your PC and use Orange Update.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 Fozzie you beat me by seconds
Guest pugzi Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 i have already downloaded it, i can see it in accessories in the phones menu, but still no luck, it wont let me "test" when you open the keyboard program.
Guest fozzie Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 Have you restarted your phone since installing it? I'm pretty sure mine took 2 restarts in total. When you plug the keyboard in, the driver should automatically fire up the keyboard application for you to calibrate the keyboard. You should also hear a little 'jingle' when you plug in or remove keyboard.
Guest agut Posted July 12, 2003 Report Posted July 12, 2003 How can I turn off the little 'jingle' when I plug in or remove keyboard? thanks agut
Guest agut Posted July 24, 2003 Report Posted July 24, 2003 ;) Who can help me? I really should turn off the jingle when I connect my Smartphone with the keyboard . Who has an idea? Thanks agut :)
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted July 24, 2003 Report Posted July 24, 2003 I don't have the keyboard but I can suggest two options, 1, Turn the volume down before connecting. 2, Look for the registry entry, it may hide in HKEY_CURRENT_USERControlPanelSounds
