Where can I find Pixel Chess?

I can't seem to find where to download Pixel Chess. I have had a look at the other chess programs, but before I bought the cheap one, I wanted to try Pixel chess, I liked the look of the larger board. Any ideas?

I have never seen pixel chess for sale anywhere, and i do look out for these things :lol:

Take your pick from one of the four chess games already released (5 if you count that free one where you play by email). The 4 commercial ones can be found in the Software catalogue.

I have Orneta Chess and it works very well, and saves your progress as you go so is fine for a quick bash. I did however find the computer player much too tricky until you reduced it's skill right down. Perhaps I'm just rubbish! It is not very feature packed, but if all you want is a game of chess that works well then I can recommend it.

If you are after more bells and whistles (and have a fatter wallet) then you could look at one of the other offerings.

I wrote a popular chess tutor program for PocketPC - Graduate Chess; I'm wondering if there is a market for it in the Smartphone world?

There's like a zillion chess games already :lol:

Pixel's mobile Chess game is going to be deployed this year, most probably in its J2ME version initially. The unique thing about it is that it will allow playing against "Deep Junior" - one of the best Chess engines available. This engine is so powerful that it cannot be installed on a handset and users will play against an online Chess server...
