Guest Posted June 5, 2003 Report Posted June 5, 2003 Can someone tell me where to find the folder for the SD card on Active Sync explore. I'm trying to copy a program from the phone memory to the SD card using Active Sync
Guest nobznss Posted June 5, 2003 Report Posted June 5, 2003 The folder should be called "storage card."
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted June 5, 2003 Report Posted June 5, 2003 If it's not seeing the card try removing the card it and and then puting it back in, sometimes the phone can forget the card is there.
Guest Posted June 5, 2003 Report Posted June 5, 2003 Thanks guys, Did just what you said and hey presto there was the icon. What the best way to access the program, create a shortcut for the program and put it in start menu or just maybe just access it direct from the card.
Guest James Posted June 5, 2003 Report Posted June 5, 2003 use active sync to browse to the storage card find the program file and right click on it and select create shortcut. then move the shortcut file to ispmwindowsstartmenu and restart your phone.
Guest James Posted June 5, 2003 Report Posted June 5, 2003 or to save restarting your phone end the program task using task manager
Guest madu Posted June 6, 2003 Report Posted June 6, 2003 Or to save restarting.... Open a subfolder in Start Menu on the phone by going into Programs>Games then back and presto!! PS: Use SmartExplorer to perform file operations (ie move to SD) create links etc on your phone (must be decertified, see OTA)
