Guest Gorskar Posted June 6, 2003 Report Posted June 6, 2003 http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/59/31055.html Sounds like a tasty tariff. I do agree with the bit at the end though that they should be doing more to push their unique services. Still: video calling is useless without someone to call, and these kind of tariffs might just encourage more people to take up 3, AFTER which they can start pushing 3g services heavily.
Guest mcwarre Posted June 7, 2003 Report Posted June 7, 2003 OMG I am tempted.... Probably wait until the newer scheduled handsets come out in the next few months as present ones are cr*p with even worse battery life then my spv! BTW the inclusive minutes are any network anytime... Might reduce call charges on O as I am sure that people will flock to it. Think that they are playing it right. Get people to switch and use voice first, then they will start using the 3G services. I had never used GPRS before until I had my SPV so IMHO I believe that it is a good marketing ploy. It is not available on their site as a price plan yet tho'. Does anyone intend to switch?
