Guest gspacedboy Posted June 6, 2003 Report Posted June 6, 2003 I woke up yesterday to find that my Spv would not start up fully start up. It just hung on the Orange sunrise pic. After many hours i called Orange to request a replacement. Its officially buggered now so i will receive my replacemnt handset tomorrow. But i was wondering if Orange will be pissed with my beause i De-cerified my Spv? Also there are various programmes that are not digitally signed to... are they gonna be pissed! Guest jaywalker Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 I had exact same problem.. Hard reset didn't help.. (there was only 1 option available on the diag screen `clear ipsm` the rest were all blank so i couldn't do the other things listed. HOWEVER Orange got my phone to me within the 24 hours so am happy

When you do a hard reset you only choose "erase IPSM" and that's it apart from restarting the phone.
Guest Bonzo Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 Yep... had the exact same problem a week ago... Hard Reset worked fine... and been going strong again ever since 8)
Guest gspacedboy Posted June 10, 2003 Report Posted June 10, 2003 I never had the chance, by the time i had realised that a hard reset was the solution, it was to late... Mr Orange had taken it away... ah well... Now ive got a new/reconditioned Spv that makes the Windows startup sound at, surprisingly, start up!!
