Guest pyke Posted June 7, 2003 Report Posted June 7, 2003 during the charging of my tanager and whenever my battery goes full, it automatically stops charging.it agen drops to 99% and lower as if it's not plugged in the charger.is this normal?does the charger or the phone have a feature to disengage its being charged once the battery goes full?
Guest tutut17 Posted June 7, 2003 Report Posted June 7, 2003 i guess its normal, d first time i charged my tanager i left it for more than 2 hrs, when i came back d charging light indicator was off, then when i checked it was fully charged na.
Guest jabez Posted June 7, 2003 Report Posted June 7, 2003 @tutut17 I guess it's normal. Note that the LED is yellow when charging and turns green when the battery is fully charged. When it reaches a certain voltage (or whatever) the charging stops.
Guest grifter Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 yes, when fully charged, the indicator shows 99%. The charging cycle also stops when the batt is fully charged to prevent over-charging.
Guest BrAGoL Posted June 10, 2003 Report Posted June 10, 2003 mind to ask... how long usually your battery lasts after it came from a full charge?
Guest grifter Posted June 11, 2003 Report Posted June 11, 2003 average is 36 hrs -- around 15-20 mins talk time and 30-40 sms during the period. and the occasional active sync with outlook via IR. my best time is 2 1/2 days. with only less than 10 sms sent.
Guest BrAGoL Posted June 11, 2003 Report Posted June 11, 2003 thanks for the info sir... am just wondering why my unit's battery only lasted for about 12-13 hours... btw, i only acquired my spvx unit just last week... wednesday to be exact... maybe the reason is that (based from the other thread) it's still not yet conditioned yet... perhaps...
Guest grifter Posted June 11, 2003 Report Posted June 11, 2003 one cause is poor signal reception. do you have 1-2 signal bars only? another is when you play with your phone all the time -- changing settings, games, etc. the bright LCD display sucks a lot of battery power when lit.
Guest BrAGoL Posted June 11, 2003 Report Posted June 11, 2003 yeah you're right... maybe the poor signal i receive at my home place... no problem with the signal here at my work place... i'm in makati... the signal here is great...
