Guest jaywalker Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 Fair play to orange i had the replacement within 24 hours after ringing them on Saturday morning.. However i've lost all my lovely working settings for everything.. sighs GPRS no work EMAIL no work I've gone thru their 50p!!! a minute tech support to get my details confirmed and they say `nothing should be wrong` but it is. .it comes up `The page you are looking for cannot be found" yet orange update works fine.. go figure.. I have my outlook configured to sync with phone etc, and even when i put same settings on phone comes up `cannot find host` ALL this points to DNS however i've configured DNS to the settings i had before (i wrote em down - was thinking clearly for once that day) WTF is going wrong..
Guest drblow Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 I know this might be real obvious - but have you checked the gprs settings a zillion times as per the post in the articles forum?? If your O update works, you should be able to get PIE to work again. Have you tried soft resetting phone / switching on/off radio. Sometimes I have heard people saying that if Orange reset your gprs, that can work.

A few people have had orange settings sent to them and have said that It didn't seem to work. I suspect there might something wrong in your settings there rather than GPRS not being activated. Check and see if the following are still in your phone. In Settings - data connections Internet connection: Orange GPRS WAP connection: Orange WAP In Internet Explorer connections tick 'Automatically detect settings'
