Movie Problem

Hi,

I'm trying to watch a film on my SPV. I've successfully watched many in the past but I'm having problems with this one.

Everytime I watch it it gets to a certain point and then the video freezes for about 5 seconds but the audio continues, once the video unfreezes the audio and video are out of sync. Does anybody know how to prevent this?

What file format is the film? and as it's only happening on just this one file the main question is

has it been encoded correctly to run on the SPV?

The file has been converted by myself from AVI to WMV, the problem was on the AVI file as well but this could be eliminated by skipping forward a couple of seconds, I've tried this using .ASX files on the SPV but it hasn't worked.
