help required please!

Hope the members might be able to help out on a few niggles that have popped up......

Q. I cant unistall some programs handset says this program failed to unistall. tried deleting file on PC but this did not remedy the situation. How can I delete them without a hard reset which although cures the problem, has a nightmare effect on my pocket internet setup which then failes to operate?

Q. how do I use the sound manager to create new ringtones and where do I place the ,amr file for it to operate and be recognized by the handset. The orange site is no help at all?

Q. when I install programs to ISPN/WINDOWS/START MENU/ACCESSORYS the program offers the option to install to storage card but ive noticed this still uses memory on the phone why is this? and how do I get programs to work directly of my storage card only?

Q. Is there a way to improve the BASS settings on the windows media player for playback of Wav's/Mp3's?

If the app is still in resident memory then it will not install, to uninstall most apps it's best to power the phone offon first then uninstall.

Sorry can't help you there as I never use it, all my ringtones are .wav files which live in the IPSMApplication DataSounds folder but saying that I presume it would be in the same folder.

It will always use up a small part of the phones memory shortcuts registry changes etc, that's why I always recommend installation to the card as much as possible.

Not that I'm aware of unless you alter the way the file is compressed :?
