Anyone else having probs with GPRS??

Mine has been down since May (was OK for 6 months) at home and at work but worked ok when I was at the airport 50 miles away the other day. Orange just keep saying that a fault report has been logged and they are still waiting for a response from the engineers. All the data connection settings are correct. Today Orange said they'd switch off my GPRS and re-enable it after 2 hours to give it a 'Kick Start'. That's all been done and now GPRS won't even place the call (the same message I get overseas where there is no GPRS coverage)

I'm having the exact same problem- since wednesday last week. It was working fine in the morning but I accidently turned off the radio and from then on it wouldnt reconnect, despite being in 'good signal area' for Gprs. Orange have tried everything but have now passed it to tech support. until they get back to me I am without Gprs which I'm not happy about cos the promotion ends at the end of this month.

Where are you people located?

I'm been having loads of problems here in Northampton for weeks and weeks. At first I put it down to the settings on the phone. But I phoned Orange today and they confirmed GPRS was down in my area and would be back up tomorrow :?:

He was very abrupt with me - Perhaps they are getting a lot of these calls :?

My sources advise me that there IS a problem currently with GPRS - or rather there have been TWO problems - fixing the first resulted in the creation of the second. But don't tell anyone I told you!

"He was very abrupt with me - Perhaps they are getting a lot of these calls"

You're not wrong.
