Auto install home pages

On the "cool smart phone" web site the auto instal hme files dont seem to auto install. Either you "Save" or "Open" and it still comes up with the message "what program do you want to use to open this".

I looked in the phone and no luck, it's not there.

Any ideas or am i being pathetic?

When you have a .hme file it will aut install but you need to place it on your phone first :lol:

Place the file in IPSMWindowsStart MenuAccessories then on the phone go to ProgramsAccessories and

you will see the file there. Just run the file and the homescreen will self install :D

I think it used to be but it seems to be having a major overhaul at the moment.

oh, and one more thing, how do yo uinstall the zip method of the home files?

Sorry can you give me an example I'm not sure what you mean :?

Or do you mean once installed how do you remove a homescreen?

On the smart phone web site some of the home pages you can download come in a .zip format for you to save, unzip and then transfer across to your phone i guess. But these are .home type files when unzipped. When i take these into the phone folder you told me and open it in accessories, it opens internet explorer and shows a shed load of code???.

The abouve location was for .hme and .cab files

The one you are trying to install needs to go in IPSMApplication DataHome just place both files here

and then on the phone go ProgramsSettingsHome Screen and under layout choose the Kylie skin then click

done and return to your new homescreen :lol:
