Guest kingdom master Posted June 11, 2003 Report Posted June 11, 2003 WELL, from experience of running other music based forums, if u havea successful product why not extent ur branches, plus! other smaller forums or even large forums are happy to merge and lose there forum name if they retain some moderation. why have the largest smartphone forum and not allow yourself the chance to have the largest gsm or other phone forums out there. there is obviously a need for quality forums out there as alot of them aroud suckcompared to this one. and the way paul runs this place is of a high standard higher than ive ever seen before. so i hope in the end it doesnt restrict only to smartphones (not for my sake but for the growth of modaco, im speaking on a business sense here) think of the freebies,hee hee J/K!! :lol: anyway just a thought. its good to talk :D kingdom

Guest spacemonkey Posted June 11, 2003 Report Posted June 11, 2003 I think there is a huge growth potential for Modaco as it stands focused only on Microsoft Smartphone devices. Look at the fact that it is this big and successful already and there is only 1 device SPV in wide circulation that is relevant to the forum. In a year or 2 from now there should be multiple new Microsoft Smartphone devices and I would be hoping that they had a market share pushing towards 500,000 units. That seems like plenty of room for growth to me while still retaining a very clear focus to the forum.
