The above is taken from the Pocket PC Passion board and talks of an xda SD slot camera, could this be the solution to our video problems as a result of our sluggish camera??

I haven't looked into this too much but have posted it as information so feel free to critisice this data!!!

Makes sense. And if it does use SD Bus then there should be no drivers needed. I wonder what the price will be? Also, I don't know if that is all worth it, but 6-10 frames/second is GOOD!!

Well i'll be the first to criticise my own findings, the speculation is that it takes the pictures and saves them directly to the attached SD card and would therefore be no good as a video camera (however it does state something about 6 to 10 fps??). We'll have to wait and see but that would explain the lack of a need for drivers...

EDIT: Make that the second to criticise my own findings, Madu beat me to it!!

Which way around is the SD slot on the XDA, i.e. would the camera face towards or away from you??? Camera facing toward you would be pretty useless for taking pics/vid unless you're filming over your shoulder! On the other hand might work well with MS Portrait.

That depends if the XDA's SD slot is turned the same way as the SPV one...
