to: the MAN who develop Smartface!! (You are the man)

I just try to think that with the similar approach with when you develop Smartface, the program which can assign ringtone storing on SD card to the contact is most likely to be carry out!!

For example, my friend's number is 014884021, we could have a folder storing ringtone on the SD Card called "Storage CardRintone" and keep ringtone as a file name "014884021.wav" When this friend of mine call then the application should go to activate that particular ringtone. The same logic as smartface!! is it possible. :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

Surely you can already do this ... there's a tweak about that let's you store ringtones on the storage card, so all you need to do is edit a contact's details then right near the bottom set the "custom ringtone"?

Not got the tweak myself so not sure it'll work, but presume so

the tweak is only possible to the standard ringtone, but not for the contact's ringtone. In the register, the standard ringtone is the ringtone0, but according to midnight, the contact's ringtone is store somewhere else... right? Midnight?

hehe, yep, you are indeed correct, the custom ringtones are stored in the contacts db, dont thing this part syncs with outlook tho, cos i cant find it inthe outlook details (unfortunately, cos this would have been the easy way of editing it)

I guess the problem is that the program would have to intercept any incoming calls and screen them for whether or not there's an associated ringtone, and then if not pass the call on to the regular call handling stuff ... I've not got any experience programming the SPV but that sounds like a stumper

So I guess the only route is to change where outlook looks for the custom ringtone ... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Having said that, I have been proven wrong (see above  ) :?
