Guest Darrenfranks Posted June 13, 2003 Report Posted June 13, 2003 Hi, I've searched the site to try and find an answer to this question but can't find an answer - anyone got any suggestions? i unitstalled WMP 9 and downloaded V7 OR 8 (not sure!), anyway - tried absoutly everything but still can't get any sound when I try to encode files I understand its something to do with the Codecs from WMP 9 so I've downloaded (what i thought) was the old codec from the MS Site. Still no joy - any one figured out how to do this?
Guest James Posted June 13, 2003 Report Posted June 13, 2003 Sorry, this is not much help but i cant use WMP because i have no sound card on this computer so it wont copy CD tracks to MP3, so insted i use Real One Player because you dont have to playe the track at the same time. and that works fine!
Guest Darrenfranks Posted June 13, 2003 Report Posted June 13, 2003 you're right mate its not but thanks for the input :-)
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted June 13, 2003 Report Posted June 13, 2003 Tried uninstalling WMP 9? I use dbpoweramp (google for it) and its WMP plugin to encode my wma's and mp3's. Simple to use and works fine...
