Guest Simon Desser Posted June 14, 2003 Report Posted June 14, 2003 thats one of the worst bits of photoshop i've seen in a long time 8) I didn't do anything to it :? and I've got to be honest, I assumed it was real :?: It's from a site showing lots of "funny" road signs etc, and all the rest seem pretty genuine :?:
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted June 14, 2003 Report Posted June 14, 2003 Now taking bets on the number of "funny" pic's before an AYB one appears ;p
Guest Big Ron - No Longer a Mem Posted June 15, 2003 Report Posted June 15, 2003 When Nixon's "ping pong" diplomacy resulted in the Peoples' Republic of China getting a UN seat, their first ambassador to the UN was called (IIRC) badword-U. You can just HEAR the conversations! "Gunter Schmidt from the Federal german republic - pleased to meet you!" "badword U from China". I had an old (Parisian) friend called Suzanne who taught French at Cheltenham Ladies' College. She liked to use large posters as a teaching aid, and by pointing to things and asking questions in French could get the girls to construct quite complicated sentences. But it took a LONG time before she understood the general hilarity that always accompanied the "circus" poster. If you know the French word for "sea lion", (phoque, pronounced f*ck) the reason becomes apparent!
