Do you mean the SIM lock?

If so then see here.

If you mean the Software certification requirement then please say which phone you have, as as far as I'm aware the networks who have imposed released tanagers have not imposed software locks.

Tutorial de desimlockage du spv pour bootloader de 0.91 a 0.98.

How to desimlock the SPV (for bootloaders from 0.91 to 0.98).

Poser le spv sur le support usb en le laissant sur le menu canary a trois couleurs.

Put the SPV on the usb craddle, the SPV must be under the 3 colors Canary menu.

1 - sur le bureau fermer avctivesync en appuyant sur la croix rouge en haut a droite.

1 - Close active sync.

2 - Terminer le processus WCESCOMM.EXE

2 - Kill the WCESCOMM.EXE process with the task manager

3 - Télécharger SPVUnlock.exe ICI

3 - Download the program SPVUnlock.exe there: http://www.smart-expert.com/soft/SPVUnlock.exe

4 - cliquez sur l'icône du cadenas.

4 - click on the icon of the lock

5 - Notez le code donner par le programme.

5 - Note the code given at screen by the program.

6 - Tapez quit et après la touche entrée du clavier.

6 - Type in the command "quit" and enter.

7 - Mettre une autre sim que l'opérateur actuel et tapez le code donné par le programme.

7 - Put a sim card into the phone (not an Orange one) then just type the code given by the program.

The End.

This is the only way to SIM-unlock your phone! And it is extremely easy!!

There are two ways of "software" unlocking your phone, the Orange official OTA way (follow the link) - and the old way where you would have to alter some files and transfer them from your PC etc etc! The OTA way is by far the easiest!

But like I said, SIM-unlock and "software-unlocking" (aka decertifying) are two different things...
