SPV stuck on shutdown screen

Hi ,

It's my first time on this forum , and I hope you guys can help.

We've had our SPV for a few months , and it's steadily got more and more unstable. Firstly , the Rebound game became unloadable (it's on the SD card). Next , the phone began to lock up while it was charging . Now , we used it last night to make a phone call - ended the call and an error message came up "Unable to load Quick App - either a required componant is missing or damaged , or you are out of memory"

It then went into the sunset shutdown screen and froze - no response from any keys , and unable to shut down. We removed the battery , replaced it after a few minutes and still it was showing the same screen.

We decided to remove the battery again , and left it out overnight - guess what? Still the same screen , which is still showing faintly now , even with the battery removed

Any ideas? Thanks in advance,

Maz

phone orange. if the battery removal doesn't work then..?..

there are posts on how to do a hard reset to put it back to a factory default (out of the box) condition, you could also try this

I had the same problem and I tried this hard reset - it seems to have worked to a degree.

I can access the phone now but everything is extremely slow.

Can I now load my old synchronised info on the new settings?
