no hard reset?? No calendar no contacts no Active sync HELP

ok it just stopped ..

turned it off then on and it lost the contact (as in wont read them) or the calendar info also wont keep info on incoming caller numbers.. i'm lost on this one as its WELL over my skill set.. please help ...need working phone asap.

sounds like is has done a self hard reset mate! were you using orange backup?

no not using Orange backup ... i think its something to do with he sim... could i be right ...as it wont read anything from the sim (ie called info (inbound)). one thing ive wiped the card about a week ago and now it wont reboot the old OS where can i download it from?

had new card on order (ebuyer cancelled the order) then had to get old card out of my sons camera.

plus also ... the phones kept my home screen info and all that ..it just wont do the normal stuff

wiped the card? you mean you storage card? that wont make any diffence mate. have you tried another sim?

ok heres the final thing ...the phone was KNACKERED , spent too much time on the phone to Advanced mobuile phones ... they gave me a dodgy phone number to ring RE broken phones ... the number was never answered.... 3 hours later i wised up!. then back on the phone (land linE) to Orange to complain ... they sorted instantly!! new phone araived yesterday at 6pm (great service) ALLs OK

Heres the thing .... WHEN BUYING A PHONE FROM A PAPER(TABLIOD) DEALER CHECK THE CUST SERVICE BUY RINGING WITH A FAKE PROBLEM FIRST because this would of save me a heap of time with ADVANCED MOBILE PHONES who sold me the phone saying "yes it comes with a car charger" LIE it didnt ... when asked they said "oh yes sir, our telesales people dont know that the SPV phone doesnt come with a car charger. this is by far the biggest SHOWER i have EVER delt with...(Rant over......1...2...3...4..5..6...... )

just proves that orange still are better (most times) than "fly by night" mobile phone sellers who promise the moon the stars and the sun and then don't deliver. Makes me glad i'm with em. :lol:
