Help with de-certification.

I know I am probably the 100th to ask this but I have searched and cannot find the thread.

I have just got my SPV and am trying to de-certify but am stuck.

The help file gives details of a security file to be amended, but the original file that is displayed is different.

Mine is as follows:

Don't worry about changing the files etc just cllick on OTA to take you to the link for the official

decert via the Orange developers site. With this method you do not need to do a hard reset and loose

all you settings. :D

The help file gives details of a security file to be amended, but the original file that is displayed is different.

If you can, as awarner said, do the OTA.

If you can't (for whatever reason, there might be one!), don't worry about your original file being different, as long as you change it to what it needs to be you should be fine.

I think that the example given is for the pre UK Update, and I assume that yours is post UK update.

If at all possible do the OTA - so much less hassle!
