Guest mrming Posted June 17, 2003 Report Posted June 17, 2003 Hi, Just got an orange SPV (UK). Wicked phone but I'm having a slight problem in that it doesn't seem to show who is calling when it rings. My mate has got one too and he says he's got around the problem by entering all his numbers twice - once with the full international code and once without. Anyone got a better fix? :?
Guest paddy_mcnulty Posted June 17, 2003 Report Posted June 17, 2003 Hiya, Welcome. I'm new to all this too but had the same problem. Basically what you have to do is add the international dailing code to all your numbers, eg 0207------- is +44207-------, like wise 07855------ becomes +447855------. It's a bit of hassel going through all your number again to change them but at least you then see who's calling you. This will also let you see who's been texting you also. Hope that helps, Paddy
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted June 17, 2003 Report Posted June 17, 2003 If you use the Outlook contact reformatter it will replace all leading 0's with +44's automatically
Guest StylishLemur Posted June 17, 2003 Report Posted June 17, 2003 What if i am in different country, Thailand? Will it replace 0 with +66 for me?
