I thought adding the country code would solve it? Since this Phone has a reasonably fast processor compared to most mobiles (and PDA's) the software menu's seem to react very slowley......is there a speedup? When taking Pictures with the supplied camera......why is there an annoying delay? Is this a bug? Can the Contact list be setup to display the Name and number? Does anyone know if there are plans to use the camera to capture video, or one that will swivel for face to face conversations? Thanks for any help or advice....... Si.

I thought adding the country code would solve it?It should have worked i.e placing +44 infront of the number remembering to to take away the 0 at the beginning. Is this a bug?The camera uses the connection at the bottom of the phone, this connection is a serial one. That's why its slow. Does anyone know if there are plans to use the camera to capture video, or one that will swivel for face to face conversations? IA Album can take movies beit very poor quality and frame rate. This is unlikely to improve due to the serial connection. As for a swivel adaptor for the camera, I have approched a manufacturer and have been told that unless the demand is great, it would be unlikely to have such an adaptor as the development costs etc would be too high. Adding the country code to the start of your numbers should solve the problem with contact names not appearing eg a UK number would change from 0787123456 to +44787123456 There is a proggie about which will do just that but only UK numbers Try midnights "Speed up" tweaks for the next problem The camera has a crap reaction time cos of hardware limitations ie slow transfer rate between camera and phone. Not sure about the next one (thought it did that anyway !) IA Album will take short video clips but with the same limitations as stated above ie crap framerate etc. AFAIK there has been no mention of a swivel type camera ! Hope this helps :lol:
