task list in home screen...anybody know?

does anybody out there know of a homescreen that has the task on the screen. maybe instead of the calender?

i really like Longhorn, but again, i would love to be able to acces my task list from the homescreen.

not possible AFAIK.

PS: unless someone writes a plugin to do that, which requires C++ skills etc.

A plug-in like the today screen on a PPC would be cool.

TASKS: Total:(10) Open:(4) Complete:(6)

Clicking on it would open the Tasks Application.

Now if only the Smartphone had a better Tasks Application!

Have been praying for something like this to bring order to the chaos that is my working day ! :cry:
