help on MIDI files

hello! Im a Tanager user from the Philippines (known here as the Smart Amazing Phone). . .I have a midi file that i want to use as a ringtone but when I copied it into my phone, the midi file didn't play. . .

can we play all midi files on our phones or is there a specific kind of midi file for the tanager?
