I've been playing around with home.xml file and the shortcut bar (top of screen) has a link to Orange smartphone news page (http link), the line looks as follows (hope it shows correctly):

" "

So icon="82" and it is a picture with Globe+House on it.

Now I wonder what icon ID it is for classic IE (the blue 'e' simbol)

Thanks.

PS: Also I noticed when rearranging (apps in folders) Start Menu (WindowsStart Menu) you must make appropriate changes to home.xml file, so it links to correct locations, otherwise you get a questionmark simbol instea of program icon on home screen. (common sense really)

The classic symbol of IE comes when you specify no Icon ID but link to it. Just take the Icon attribute out of the XML

I wish... it was that easy

Tried that, but because it is an http link it does not automatically pull out the IE icon. Are you sure that works or was it just a guess..

I didn't say link to a webpage. Instead of the webpage specify the location of the Internet Explorer.lnk file.
